I have work experience in a number of fields both paid and unpaid, I have done work experience placements at Diamond Light Source in Harwell and Autentic in Germany additional to this I have had fully paid jobs working as both a kayak instructor and a waiter.

In the summer of 2024 i was one of 50 selected applicants out of the 600 that applied to the Diamond Light Source work experience program. I found the atmosphere of working in a highly scientific environment fascinating. I worked on replicating research on silver nanoparticle films for liquid mirrors, enjoying the problem solving that it entailed. Overall i loved being immersed in real world cutting edge scientific research and the ability to contribute to it.

In 2022 i secured a work experience placement at documentary production and distribution company Autentic in Germany. I helped them manage their backend resources by condensing files from multiple hard drives down into one. Additionally i helped work on a client database enabling them to better connect customers to projects.
